The girls looked so cute this morning in their Sunday dresses that I just had to snap a few shots. They're such cute girls.

Lily's first scripture in primary

Today Lily did a great job giving her first scripture in Primary. Her scripture was Ether 12:19 which says, "And there were many whose faith was so exceedingly strong, even before Christ came, who could not be kept from within the veil, but truly saw with their eyes the things which they had beheld with an eye of faith, and they were glad."

Although the scripture was a bit difficult to comprehend over the pulpit, the message is clear and beautiful. It' s a powerful example of the miracles that are given to those who exercise faith.

Parking Meter- Winning Entry!

Steve's sister, Elinn, won first place in the parking meter contest. Congratulations Elinn! I can see why she won. Cute idea!

Daniel and the Lion's Den

Lily learned the story of Daniel and the Lion's den in Primary, and they drew pictures of what they learned. This is the first picture she's drawn that you didn't have to use your imagination too much to know what she drew. I think she's a very talented 3 year old. I asked Lily to tell me the story and this is what she said, "Daniel was a little boy and the Lions were starving and they almost ate him, and he said a prayer and then they didn't eat him. Daniel was a good guy."
