Joseph Smith's First Vision, Grandma Blad Style

My (step) grandma Blad is perhaps the craftiest person I know. She makes darling puppets that are truly one-of-a-kind, and she makes them for others out of the goodness of her heart.
We had a marvelous visit with Grandma and Grandpa Blad this past weekend. Grandma spoiled us  with delicious victuals. Grandpa gave us a complete garden tour and sent us home with fresh lettuce and cilantro.

Grandma's menu for us (prepare yourself for intense jealousy):

Dinner when we arrived at 8pm was Dutchoven BBQ Stew with cube steak, potatoes, carrots, and onions all smothered in barbecue sauce and slow cooked until tender.  Served with her yummy potato salad, and green jello salad.

Breakfast at 8 am was french toast made with homemade bread, and hash brown potatoes.

Lunch after church at 2 p.m. was meatloaf, homemade rolls with homemade strawberry jam, garden corn, peas, her mother's layered salad, potato salad, baked potato, and homemade M&M cookies with strawberry shakes for dessert.
